The Happiest Place on Earth
June 27th, 2008, 4:45 afternoon wise
Yep, I visited Disney Land last weekend. It was the year of a million dreams, where "old friends are met for the very first time" (which makes no sense to me). It was great fun! I have determined that Tower of Terror is my favorite ride, followed by Space Mountain and California Screamin. I went on the new ride, "Finding Nemo: Submarine Voyage". Although the line was an hour long wait, it was worth it. I looked through my window to watch scenes of Finding Nemo underwater using Animitronics and projections. California Adventure also opened a new ride similar to Buzz Lightyear's AstroBlaster game in Disney Land, but the new one had a crazy line so I didn't get to go on it.
Does anyone watch The Office, 30Rock, Doctor Who, or Lost? I'm making graphics featuring people in them. If you do watch any, tell me in the blog comments!

Affie Applications
June 17th, 2008, 5:31 afternoon wise
I'll accept nearly anyone to be an affie. I made a very simple form from scratch that seems to open up your email account on some computers. If this happens, just click the 'send' button (you don't have to change anything in the content of the email). If this form doesn't seem to work for anyone, then tell me in this blog. Thanks! I can't wait to have some new affies!
In other news... I got my part in "Shrew! The Musical" at my theatre camp. The audition went pretty well and I ended up with the part of Maxine, a servant to the main guy, Pete. I'm just glad I didn't end up without a part... You see, the camp is supposed to have parts for everyone in the camp. But those in authority miscounted the campers and as a result, one girl didn't get cast as anything and the camp director had to write in a part for her. 'Twas sad.

The Horrors of Camp
June 10th, 2008, 9:47 night wise
This week I started a day camp. It's a theatre camp, which isn't that bad since I usually do one every year. But alas, this camp is new and foreign to me, and therefore, I am inclined to complain about it.
The Horrors:
1. It's mainly older people that know eachother from previous plays and such and are all amazing at all aspects of musical theatre.
2. It's a musical theatre camp.
3. You have to audition.
By auditioning, I mean doing a little jig in front of the camp directors and your peers (therefore humiliated), act (therefore humiliated), and sing 16 bars of a song (therefore humiliated). I'm not really worried about the dancing and the acting (well I am, but I've decided not to waste energy on them). What I'm wasting my energy worrying about is the singing. I am very very very very bad at singing in front of people. For example, last year I had to sing for everyone at the audition. My voice shrivelled and died onstage, giving me the part of Lady #6 with only 1 line. I've been practicing forever in hopes that I won't mess anything up, like forgetting the lines, being too quiet, hitting the wrong note, my voice wavering, sounding like a goat... And so on.
I will probably get the smallest part in our adapted version of Taming of the Shrew (or as the camp calls it, Shrewsical the Musical). Wish me luck, I'll need it!

New Layout
June 5th, 2008, 2:23 morning wise
I just finished the layout! It's still rough around the edges, but I'm working on replacing/fixing/doing various things. I hope this lives up to your expectations for Muffin Monotony's 'whole new look'. Speaking of which, there are lots new pages you should look at under Domain.
[Edit]Thanks so much for all of your nice comments on the layout! I added some old graphics I found in the dusty corners of my computer to the Gallery, but they're pretty bad. Don't worry, I'm working on making better ones today. [/Edit]
